Kimbap Cheonguk Choryang

I recently visited 김밥천국 초량점 near Busan Station and grabbed some kimbap and tteokbokki to go. The restaurant's proximity to the KTX boarding area made it incredibly convenient for a quick meal before my journey. The food was not only delicious but also very affordable, making it a great option for travelers. The kimbap was fresh and well-prepared, and the tteokbokki had the perfect balance of spice and flavor. I recommend 김밥천국 초량점 for anyone passing through Busan Station.

Paid ₩3,500 for each rice roll. The ingredients in the cheese roll were fresh. Both the tuna rice roll and soup (I guessed although served in a cup) were flavourful. Service was ok. Have to pay immediately after ordering food, just like any other fast food restaurant.

Hands up for this small food cafe who saved my life on a Monday at 9:30pm. Running by 3 very quiet ladies serving tasty and hearty Korean food.

Really handy spot just across the road from Busan Station. It’s cheap, cheerful, and open 24 hours – perfect if you’re arriving late or need a quick bite before catching a train. We came here for the bibimbap, and it was honestly one of the best we had in Busan. Tasty, filling, and exactly what you want from a no-frills Korean meal. It’s also one of the few places we found that does bibimbap really well, without needing to go to a fancy restaurant. We actually found this place on the Naver app (which locals use for maps and reviews), and it definitely lived up to the rating. The place is simple and busy, but the food comes out fast and the service is quick. If you’re after proper local food that won’t break the bank, this place is a solid choice.

Food was amazing. We ate here both nights that we stayed in Busan. Delicious and the staff were great. Our Korean is not good, but they have a semi English menu available. Food is extremely well priced, and generous portion sizes.

20230625 the rain has brought us here for a warm dinner. The spicy soft tofu stew absolutely tastes wonderful. Well, we're quite wet and cold from the rain, the waiter being hospitable and serving our order in no time.

Quick, easy, convenient, cheap and delicious… what more could you ask for!! And thanks for the spicy tofu stew recommendation in previous reviews, I second it, warm & spicy goodness. The chilled spicy noodles in broth had a nice vinegar pop that was a surprise. Great first meal in Korea!!
